Sitapatr School, a charming little private school in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, is on the lookout for enthusiastic teachers to become part of our Kindergarten and Primary teams. If you have a passion for fun, hands-on education, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re excited to welcome new teachers who can start on May 1, 2025. As a special thank you for completing your contract by March 2026, we offer a completion bonus of 20,000 THB! Plus, if you decide to stay on for another year, the April holiday is on us.
At Sitapatr, we’re all about creating engaging, lively classes. We’re searching for energetic Kindergarten and Primary teachers who love to plan fun activities, sing songs, and play games with our students. Our kindergarten classes focus on Phonics while also incorporating conversations and small group activities. In Primary, we teach English through subjects like Health, Science, Reading, and Math, all in a subject-based approach.
While it’s great if you’re familiar with Phonics, what we value most is your enthusiasm for teaching and your eagerness to connect with our wonderful foreign teaching teams.
Currently, our school boasts 18 foreign teachers, and there’s a thriving expat community in our city! If you enjoy making new friends and exploring Thailand, you’ll fit right in. With Koh Samui and Koh Phangan just a short drive and ferry ride away, plus the stunning mountains and beaches around Krabi, you’ll have plenty of chances to enjoy the natural beauty of this amazing country!
Salaries are negotiable based on your qualifications and experience, starting at 35,000 THB.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
