Job Description:

Sitapatr School, a delightful private institution in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, is seeking enthusiastic full-time teachers from Native English-speaking countries to join our Kindergarten and Primary teams. If you are passionate about engaging, hands-on education, we would be thrilled to hear from you!

We are looking for new teachers to begin on May 1, 2026. As a token of appreciation for completing your contract by March 2027, we offer a completion bonus of 20,000 THB. Furthermore, if you choose to extend your contract for another year, the April holiday will be complimentary.

At Sitapatr School, we focus on creating interactive and lively classes. We seek energetic Kindergarten and Primary teachers who enjoy planning fun activities, singing songs, and playing games with students. Our Kindergarten curriculum emphasizes Phonics, along with conversation and small group activities.

In Primary classes, we teach English through subjects such as Reading, Math, Science, Creative Writing, and Health using a subject-based approach. Familiarity with Phonics is advantageous, but we prioritize enthusiasm for teaching and the ability to connect with our wonderful foreign teaching teams.

Our school currently employs 18 foreign teachers, and Nakhon Si Thammarat boasts a vibrant expatriate community. If you enjoy making new friends and exploring Thailand, you will find a welcoming environment here. With Koh Samui and Koh Phangan just a short drive and ferry ride away, as well as the breathtaking mountains and beaches around Krabi, there are ample opportunities to enjoy Thailand's natural beauty.

Salaries are negotiable based on qualifications and experience, starting at 35,000 THB per month.

If you are eager to join a dedicated, fun-loving team committed to delivering quality education, please send your CV and cover letter to EPdirector@sitapatr.ac.th. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
