The Thai-Japanese Association School, located in Bangkok, is seeking two full-time teachers to join our team starting on April 1, 2026. We are looking for a Grade 2 English (Phonics) / Physical Education Teacher and a Junior High English Teacher. Our school caters to nearly 2,500 Japanese students, making it the largest Japanese school outside of Japan. We provide a well-organized, resource-rich, and culturally diverse environment with strong support and long-term stability for our staff.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monthly salary package, including allowances, between 80,000 to 90,000 THB, dependent on Japanese language proficiency.
- Completion bonus equivalent to 200% of one month's salary.

Position Responsibilities:
Junior High School English Teacher:
- Deliver engaging, student-focused English lessons covering speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Plan and execute lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Maintain academic records.
- Participate in school events and activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development.
Grade 2 English (Phonics) / Physical Education Teacher:
Physical Education Focus:
- Integrate early literacy with movement-based learning.
- Teach fundamental movement skills such as running, jumping, balancing, throwing, and catching.
- Develop students' body control, coordination, and spatial awareness.
- Provide structured, safe, and age-appropriate PE lessons.
- Promote teamwork, cooperation, and positive behavior through games and group activities.
- Use pair and small-group activities to enhance communication and mutual support.
- Deliver clear and effective physical instruction in English.
English (Phonics) Focus:
- Strong understanding of phonics, including vowels, blends, and digraphs.
- Teach blending, segmenting, and decoding skills.
- Model clear English pronunciation.
- Support early spelling and word-building.
- Align lessons with the Oxford Phonics World Book 2 pacing guide.
Required Qualifications:
- Native English speaker from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or Ireland.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Valid teaching license or QTS, or Thai teaching license.
- Original academic documents required.
- Clean criminal background check.
