Theodore International School (TIS) in Chumphon, Thailand, is seeking a dedicated Grade 5 Homeroom Teacher to join our team. This full-time position involves teaching English Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Technology. The role offers a base salary of 39,000 baht per month, which includes housing and food stipends. Additional income opportunities are available through tutoring at 500 baht per hour, potentially adding 3,000 to 5,000 baht monthly.
Our benefits package includes low-cost on-campus housing, free lunches on working days, and health insurance for teachers with multi-year contracts. The school calendar features over 30 paid holidays, with extended breaks over Christmas/New Year and Thai Songkran in April. The contract begins in October 2026 and ends on June 4th, 2027, with the possibility of permanent status for suitable candidates.
Applicants must provide a Bachelor's Degree or higher, a transcript, and a background check. Teaching hours are capped at 20 per week, with up to 5 hours of additional duties. Native English speakers are preferred, though non-native speakers with excellent skills are welcome to apply. Desired skills include a TEFL or similar diploma and experience with educational technology platforms like Google Classroom.
