Job Description:

Thai Christian School (TCS), located in Bangkok, is currently seeking native English speakers to fill teaching positions for Grade 8-9 Math or Science in our English Program. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree and be motivated to join our esteemed institution, which has been operational for over 50 years.

We are looking to fill two positions in our secondary program (Grades 7-12):
1) Grade 8-9 Math and Elective Teacher
2) Grade 8-9 Science and Elective Teacher

Employment Details:
- The starting salary ranges from 48,000 to 56,000 baht per month, contingent on experience and qualifications.
- The position commences in October 2025 for the 2025-26 academic year.
- Annual salary increments are performance-based.
- Working hours are from 07:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday.
- Teachers are expected to conduct about 20 teaching periods of 50 minutes each week.
- Additional teaching opportunities are available for those willing to teach Grades 1-6 for extra income.
- The benefits package includes paid holidays, health insurance, visa and work permit assistance, a free lunch, and completion bonuses.
- Classrooms are equipped with air-conditioning and projectors.

Requirements:
- Native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a relevant subject.
- Preferred qualifications include TEFL, CELTA, PGCEi, MEd, or similar credentials.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of teaching experience is expected, but candidates with strong qualifications and a willingness to learn may be considered.
- Proficiency in IT skills such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
- Candidates must be available for an in-person interview and provide original diplomas and transcripts.

Expectations:
Successful candidates should prioritize students' education and welfare, creating a caring, interesting, and challenging learning environment. Collaboration, flexibility, and open-mindedness are essential. Responsibilities include grading, maintaining records, and developing lesson plans and exams. Teachers are supported by department heads to ensure high standards and professional development.
