CSI is a leading expert in K-12 English learning, test preparation, and admissions consulting. Since 2013, we have been mentoring students to help them achieve top academic results and goals through our academic rigor and immersive English learning environment. We are currently looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Faculty to join our team and assist us with our mission to develop students holistically and prepare them for lifelong learning.
Our Head of Faculty is responsible for, but not limited to: strategic planning, program and curriculum development, operations management, and teaching test preparation courses. They are a competent professional with excellent leadership skills and eager to train, develop and guide our teachers to perform to a standard both inside and outside of the classroom. Our ideal Head of Faculty would also be actively involved in curriculum guidance and development.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive and negotiable salary based on experiences and qualifications;
Up to $1,000 flight ticket and 2 weeks housing for expats from outside of Vietnam;
2 years employment contract with professional and personal growth development;

Responsibilities and Duties
1/ Strategic planning for all academic programs and courses (20%)
Work with senior management to develop vision and strategy for all academic programs and courses
Develop and implement measurement tools to evaluate student learning outcomes, teacher effectiveness, and curriculum appropriateness
Prepares periodic reports for senior management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment
2/ Develop and manage all academic curriculum (20%)
Develop and oversee the development of all academic curriculum and lesson plans; use appropriate course design, teaching methodology, and technology to maximize student learning
Ensure curriculum content and teacher lesson plans are consistent and meet standards, including but not limited to
Train, develop, and guide teachers to deliver curriculum to standards, helping students achieve intended learning outcomes
3/ Staff management (20%)
Manage teaching staff to ensure classroom QA/QC and teachers are gainfully employed
Train and develop teachers to perform to standard inside and outside of the classroom; set the tone for professionalism; provide routine feedback to teachers to address deficiencies and recognize excellence
Assists with creating a workplace culture that emphasizes our educational mission, collaboration, and desire to assist one another
Work with Human Resources to recruit, train, and manage team members
Support Sales & Marketing via select in-center seminars and other marketing activities
4/ Classroom teaching (40%)
Maintain attendance and manage student behavior in accordance with Company policies
Deliver personalized instruction to each student by encouraging interactive learning
Assign, grade, and provide feedback on classroom assignments, homework, and tests in a
timely manner
Measure student progress in relation to intended course learning objectives; provide
student updates and feedback via planned progress reports
Maintain strong parent relationships and conduct planned parent-teacher conferences

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
12-hour teaching per week
Student Grade Range: G6-12
Test Prep Specialties: SAT I, ACT, SSAT, AP, IB, Subject Tutoring
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or Management - Master’s degree preferred
Teaching certificate such as TESOL/TEFL/CELTA
C1 Test or equivalent certificate (IELTS/TOEFL) for teachers from ESL countries
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in curriculum design, academic teaching principles, and effective assessment strategies
Strong written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Prioritization, planning, and organization skills
Academic ability as well as an ability to understand and communicate with those who struggle in education
A desire to work with children and/or young adults
