Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is seeking a dedicated High School Chemistry and Biology Teacher to join our team immediately. This full-time position involves teaching around 18 lessons per week, working alongside a skilled team of foreign and Thai educators in a professional and well-equipped environment.
As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering IGCSE Biology and Chemistry curriculum, covering topics such as cell structure, photosynthesis, ecology, atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry. The role requires you to attend school assemblies, special ceremonies, prepare tests, develop annual science projects, maintain display boards, cover absences, prepare short performances, and create weekly lesson plans.
Applicants must be native English speakers from the U.K., U.S., Canada, New Zealand, or Australia, hold a minimum of a 4-year university degree in a related science field, possess a TEFL certificate, have at least one year of teaching experience, and demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Benefits include a competitive monthly salary of at least 35,000 THB with potential annual increases, optional after-school classes, support for visa and work permit applications, generous holiday entitlement, free school lunch, and transport assistance if needed. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:45 to 16:00.
