RDF International School is seeking a dedicated High School ESL Teacher to join our team in Shenzhen, China, near Hong Kong. The position is set to begin on October 1, 2026, and involves teaching students in grades 7 through 12.
We offer a competitive salary ranging from RMB 22,000 to RMB 35,000 per month before tax, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes airfare, free housing, worldwide health insurance, a moving or settling-in allowance, and free lunch. Please note that cash benefits are subject to Chinese taxation.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree, a teaching certification, and experience with an American curriculum. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, three years of teaching experience, relevant endorsements or certificates, and prior experience in an international school setting.
As a High School ESL Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that follow the adopted curriculum and instructional guidelines. You will use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and laboratory activities, and select appropriate educational materials. Tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs, providing both group and individual instruction, and maintaining a conducive learning environment are key responsibilities. Additionally, you will assess student growth and communicate effectively with parents and school staff.
