Key Responsibilities:
๐น Academic Support:
- Advise students on course selection and help develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for those with special needs.
- Track student progress and provide academic interventions when needed.
๐น College & Career Readiness:
- Guide students through college applications and assist with test prep (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS).
- Organize workshops on admissions, financial aid, and career exploration.
๐น Social & Emotional Support:
- Provide counseling for personal, social, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to address behavioral concerns.
- Promote mental health awareness and stress management.
๐น Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate student records and plan initiatives to foster a positive school environment.
Qualifications:
๐ Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred).
๐ Experience in a similar role, ideally in an international school setting.
๐ฌ Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
๐ฑ Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse populations.
