Job Description:

🌟 ACIS is seeking a compassionate and dedicated High School Guidance Counselor to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth while promoting college readiness and career development. 🌟
📍 Location: Americana Chinese International School, Chiang Mai
📅 Position Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Academic Support:
- Advise students on course selection and help develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for those with special needs.
- Track student progress and provide academic interventions when needed.
🔹 College & Career Readiness:
- Guide students through college applications and assist with test prep (SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS).
- Organize workshops on admissions, financial aid, and career exploration.
🔹 Social & Emotional Support:
- Provide counseling for personal, social, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to address behavioral concerns.
- Promote mental health awareness and stress management.
🔹 Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate student records and plan initiatives to foster a positive school environment.
Qualifications:
🎓 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred).
🌍 Experience in a similar role, ideally in an international school setting.
💬 Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
🌱 Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work with diverse populations.
