We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified A-Level Mathematics /Chemistry/ Physics Teacher to join our high-performing academic team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching advanced-level courses and a passion for inspiring students in preparation for university studies. This role focuses on delivering Cambridge International A-Level (or equivalent) curricula in both subjects to students aged 16–19.
Key Responsibilities:
Academic Instruction:
Plan and deliver high-quality A-Level lessons in Math/ Chemistry or Physics
Prepare students for A-Level exams through structured lessons, mock assessments, and targeted revision.
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners of varying abilities, including gifted and EAL students.
Curriculum Development:
Design and update schemes of work and assessment plans aligned with Cambridge/Edexcel/Oxford AQA (or equivalent) syllabi.
Integrate laboratory experiments and applied problem-solving activities into chemistry instruction.
Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records.
Professional Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues in departmental planning and cross-disciplinary initiatives.
Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and continuous professional development (CPD).
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics or a related discipline
Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, international equivalent)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching A-Level or equivalent (IB DP, AP, etc.)
Familiarity with Cambridge International curriculum and exam standards (preferred).
Experience teaching in an international school environment (preferred).
