Job Opportunity: Middle School Teacher – BCISB
British Columbia International School of Bangkok (BCISB) is seeking a passionate Middle School Teacher to join our team for an immediate start. We follow the British Columbia curriculum from the province of Canada and are looking for an educator who can teach Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (with a focus on computer science), Science, and Career Education. Our school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and will transition to the International Baccalaureate (IB) next academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Applied Design, Skills, and Technologies (ADST), Science, and Career Education to middle school students.
Foster inquiry-based learning in alignment with the BC curriculum.
Integrate technology and hands-on projects to enhance student engagement.
Support student development through project-based learning, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement effective instructional strategies.
Qualifications:
A degree in education or a related field with a teaching certification.
Experience in teaching the British Columbia curriculum or familiarity with its principles is preferred
Expertise in computer science is preferred.
A passion for working with middle school students and a commitment to their overall development.
Compensation:
Salary: At least 62,500 baht per month depending on experience and qualifications
