Primary Teacher Position: Year 4 Homeroom Teacher for English, Maths, Science and PSHE. Immediate Start!
Location: KK International School, Mae Sot, Tak, Thailand. Emergent international school situated on the Thai-Myanmar border with a culturally and geographically diverse context.
Job Type: Full-time 8.00-5.00pm
Salary: starts at 25K with housing allowance, non-B visa and work permit.
Job Summary: The position is essentially a grade-level teacher, teaching core subjects such as English, Maths and Science, as well as Personal, Emotional, Health and Economics (PSHE). The teacher is also responsible for providing life skills, and assessment during classroom times. KKIS follows the British curriculum using Jolly Grammar, Origio Maths and Cambridge Science textbooks. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our international team of administrative staff and teachers while adhering to KKIS policies and procedures.
Requirements: The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or related field and 2+ years teaching experience in a school setting. Priority given to teachers already living in Thailand. The position will require a police background check from home country and at least 2 references from former employees and/or character references.
