The British Council Thailand, located in Bangkok, is currently seeking Hourly Paid Instructors of English to join our team beginning in mid-May 2026. This part-time role offers a starting pay rate of ฿946.50 per hour, with potential increases based on qualifications. The position is a fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Key responsibilities include teaching students, monitoring and supporting learners' progress and performance, contributing to course monitoring, evaluation, and development, engaging in professional development and performance management, and supporting the broader objectives of the British Council. The role requires working in our teaching centers on weekends and at partner schools on weekdays, focusing on teaching children.
Applicants should hold a first degree and a CELTA or equivalent qualification, with some experience in teaching young learners. Familiarity with Thai learners is preferred. The position is open to both native and non-native English speakers, though non-native speakers must demonstrate a CEFR C2 level of English proficiency.
