British Council Thailand is seeking Hourly Paid Instructors of English to join our team in Bangkok, starting mid-May 2026. This part-time role involves teaching students, monitoring and supporting their progress, contributing to course evaluation and development, participating in professional development, and supporting the broader objectives of the British Council.
This position offers a fixed-term, 1-year renewable contract. Teaching will take place in our centers on weekends and in partner schools on weekdays, focusing on children. Candidates should possess a first degree, CELTA or equivalent, and some experience teaching young learners. Experience with Thai learners is advantageous. Both native and non-native speakers are welcome to apply. Non-native speakers must demonstrate a CEFR C2 level of English proficiency.
The pay starts at 946.50 THB per hour and may increase based on qualifications. Additional benefits include a visa and work permit, as well as training and development opportunities.
