Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and challenging lessons based on the IB PYP/ MYP curriculum.
Foster inquiry, collaboration, and critical thinking in the classroom.
Develop transdisciplinary units of inquiry that incorporate multiple subject areas.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress and school events.
Participate in professional development and IB training to remain current with PYP/ MYP standards and practices.
Contribute to the life of the school through involvement in extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification.
At least 2 years of teaching experience (IB PYP/ MYP experience strongly preferred).
Understanding of and commitment to the IB philosophy and international-mindedness.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in English (native or near-native level; additional language skills a plus).
