Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that align with the IB PYP framework and school curriculum.
Develop and implement units of inquiry across multiple subject areas, integrating concepts, skills, and learner profiles.
Encourage students to ask questions, explore ideas, and reflect on their learning.
Foster a classroom culture of respect, curiosity, and independence.
Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
Provide regular feedback to students and communicate progress to parents through conferences and reports.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary planning and school initiatives.
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school community.
Promote and model the IB Learner Profile attributes and international-mindedness.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field.
Teaching certification/license
At least 2 years of classroom teaching experience, preferably in a primary/elementary setting.
Understanding of child development and early years pedagogy.
Strong command of English
Preferred:
IB PYP training or experience.
Experience in an international or bilingual school setting.
Familiarity with play-based learning, inquiry-based learning, and concept-driven curriculum.
Proficiency with educational technology tools
