Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School (CUD) is in search of dynamic educators interested in long-term career prospects to join the English Program. CUD is currently offering Science classes in English that adhere to The Basic Education Core Curriculum.
Position Available:
1. EP Biology Teacher: Responsible for teaching Upper-level biology and lower-level general science classes incorporating Physics and Chemistry (Grades 7-12).
2. EP English Teacher: Expected to guide students in English Grammar, Vocabulary, Writing, Presentation, and Debate (Grades 7-12).
Qualifications:
- Native English Speakers (RP/GA) from UK, US, AUS, NZ, Canada, Western Europe, or South Africa.
- Bachelor's Degree related to the teaching subject.
- Minimum 1 year of teaching experience.
- Possession of a valid non-b, non-o, or tourist visa.
- Teaching license issued by Teachers' Council of Thailand or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic towards teaching as a profession.
Duties:
- Homeroom teacher responsibilities.
- Participation in school activities, occasionally on weekends.
- Teaching 19 periods per week with around 30-35 students per class.
- Collaboration with a partner/co-teacher of Thai nationality.
- Preparation of teaching materials, worksheets, exams, homework evaluation, and lesson planning.
