Mingdao High School International Department is seeking qualified individuals for MDID Positions for the 2026-2027 School Year in MYP and DP Physics as well as MYP and DP Math.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM:
- Valid state-issued teaching license
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education &/or relevant field
- Citizen of an English-speaking country (official language, MOE requirement), or APRC holder
PREFERRED:
- IB experience, advanced degrees, two years of experience in a specific subject area
- Experience with English-language learners
- Demonstrates student-centered, authentic, inquiry-based, IB-aligned teaching methods
- Strong English communication skills; research, writing, speaking
- Demonstrates collaboration with peers
- Passion for receiving and/or leading professional development seminars
- Empathy, patience, resilience, grit
