Lighthouse International Secondary in Phuket is seeking a Junior English Teacher & ESL Program Coordinator. This full-time position offers a salary range of 45,000 – 50,000 THB per month and requires the successful candidate to start on August 17th, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates currently residing in Thailand, but we are open to exceptional international applicants who can arrive promptly in Phuket.
In this role, you will split your duties equally between teaching English to Junior students and managing our ESL pull-out/support program. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging English lessons, overseeing ESL support, providing relief teaching as needed, and tracking student progress.
Candidates should ideally be located in Thailand or able to arrive by the start date. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, or a related field is preferred, along with a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (minimum 120 hours). A PGCE or official teaching license is advantageous. Experience in teaching English and managing ESL interventions in an international school setting is desirable. Native English Speaker (NES) or Non-Native English Speaker (NNES) with native-level fluency and a high TOEIC/IELTS score is required.
