Job Description:
Welcome to GCIS! We are looking for a Kindergarten Homeroom Teacher to join our team in Dongtan & Gwanggyo. At GCIS, we believe that the early years of learning are crucial for lifelong growth. Position Details:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 09:00–17:50 [Kindergarten Position]
- Location: Dongtan (Hwaseong) or Gwanggyo (Suwon)
- Start Date: March, 2026
- Teaching Hours: Approximately 26 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits:
- Kindergarten Salary: 2.5–2.9 million KRW (Based on experience)
- Vacation: 13 days + 2 paid sick days
- Housing: Provided or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW
Qualifications & Requirements:
- E-2 or F-series visa holder (E-2 visa sponsorship available)
- Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3–4 years)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Preferred: Valid teaching license and experience in international or bilingual settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement syllabus, unit plans, rubrics, and weekly lesson plans aligned with GCIS academic standards
- Assign consistent homework and provide timely feedback
- Design assessments that foster student growth
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress
- Prepare progress reports and report cards
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events
- Attend Parent–Teacher Conferences and GCIS community programs
