Job Description:

Omega Prep, located in Central Bangkok, is seeking a Lead Economics Teacher and Mentor for A-Level, AP, and IB curricula. This part-time, contract role offers a competitive hourly rate of at least ฿1,000 per hour. The position involves empowering students, who are predominantly near-native English speakers from top international schools, by demystifying complex economic theories and enhancing their analytical skills. As an Economics Teacher at Omega Prep, you will guide students through the intricacies of microeconomic models and macroeconomic policies, providing real-time analytical feedback and fostering rigorous academic dialogue.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct deep discussions on economic models, policies, and market dynamics.
- Offer real-time feedback on student work and exam responses.
- Mentor students to build confidence and clarity in their academic pursuits.
- Serve as an intellectual guide to help students apply coursework to future studies.

Ideal Candidate:
- Native English speaker, preferably from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Strong background in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Familiar with high school economics curricula such as A-Level, AP, or IB.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching or exceptional test scores in these subjects.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to engage students in debate.
- Resides full-time in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Excellent English communication skills.
