Job Description:

Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University (SBS) is seeking a motivated and dedicated Lower Secondary English & Music Teacher to join our dynamic international teaching team in Bangkok. The position is set to begin on May 5th, 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Music to lower secondary students (Years 7–10), with a focus on language development and engaging music instruction aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English, emphasizing language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Deliver Music lessons covering music theory, listening skills, performance, and ensemble activities.
- Plan and execute lessons in accordance with school schemes and the Cambridge International Curriculum.
- Create teaching resources and assessments, and maintain records using the school’s administrative systems.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learners, including EAL students.
- Provide constructive feedback on student progress and support their development in a clear, structured classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about student progress and wellbeing.
- Support or lead music-related extracurricular activities, such as choirs and performances.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Music, Performing Arts, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification/license/certification.
- A music-related qualification or practical music background is highly desirable.
- A Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 2 years of post-qualification teaching experience in a structured school setting.
- Experience teaching English and/or Music to Primary or Lower Secondary students.
- Familiarity with Cambridge International Education or other international curricula is advantageous.
- Experience working with EAL learners in an international school environment.
- Native English speaker with strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
