Chulalongkorn University Demonstration Secondary School in Bangkok, Thailand, is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teachers for its English Program. We have two full-time positions available for Mathematics and English teachers, each offering a competitive salary of up to ฿71,000 per month.
**Mathematics Teacher Position:**
We are looking for a Mathematics teacher with expertise in Algebra, Geometry, Functions, Statistics, Probability, or Calculus for grades 7-12, based on the IGCSE Curriculum. Applicants should be native English speakers from countries such as the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, or Western Europe. A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in the specified subject area is required, along with some teaching experience. Preference will be given to those with a degree in Education, PGCE, or a postgraduate diploma in education or teaching. A teaching license from another country or a temporary teaching permit from the Teachers’ Council of Thailand is an advantage.
**English Teacher Position:**
We are also seeking an English teacher to teach grammar, vocabulary, writing, presentation, and debate to students in grades 7-12. The preferred candidates should be native English speakers from the UK, US, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Western Europe, or South Africa. A Bachelor’s Degree related to teaching and a minimum of one year of teaching experience is necessary. Candidates must hold a valid non-b, non-o, or tourist visa and possess a teaching license issued by the Teachers’ Council of Thailand or equivalent.
**Responsibilities for Both Positions:**
- Conduct homeroom teacher duties and assist in all school activities.
- Teach approximately 18-19 periods per week with class sizes of 30-35 students.
- Collaborate with a Thai co-teacher.
- Prepare teaching materials, worksheets, exams, and lesson plans.
