Bangkok Christian College is seeking applications for Mathematics and English Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year, with opportunities for long-term employment within our English Immersion Program. We are looking for skilled, diligent, and dynamic educators who thrive in a professional environment.
Positions commence on May 5th, and interviews are ongoing. Applicants must be in Thailand to participate in in-person or online interviews.
We are hiring for four positions:
- Two Mathematics teachers for Grades 8 and 12.
- Two English teachers for Grades 9 and 10.
Working Requirements:
- Teachers will teach 24 forty-minute periods weekly.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm (Early finish at 3:15 pm on Fridays).
- Occasional weekend parent meetings and school events are required (typically two or three times a year).
Candidate Requirements:
- Native English speaker from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
- Teaching credentials (e.g., MEd, PGCE, PGCEi) are highly encouraged.
- Minimum of two years of high school teaching experience, preferably in Thailand.
- Applicants must currently reside in Thailand.
- Must be available to start on May 5th.
- Ability to provide original educational documents, such as diplomas, certificates, passport, and transcripts, at the initial interview.
Compensation:
- Salaries range from 59,000 Baht/month for those without teaching qualifications to 73-75,000 Baht/month for qualified teachers.
- 40,000 Baht bonus upon contract completion, calculated pro-rata based on the joining date.
- Yearly salary increments up to 3,000 Baht/month.
- 12-month contract with 8 weeks of paid holidays (March/April, October, December) and all paid Thai public holidays.
- Medical insurance, work permits, and visa extensions provided.
- Opportunities for extra classes.
- 7 paid sick days annually.
- Complimentary daily lunch on campus.
