Mathematics Teacher for Private Family in Khao Yai
We are seeking a dedicated and professional full-time Mathematics Teacher to educate two children, aged 6 and 11, following the UK National Curriculum. This role is located in Khao Yai, within the Pak Chong area, approximately 170 km from Bangkok. The position offers a 2-year contract with a flexible start date, ideal for those seeking a stable and balanced lifestyle while focusing on personalized teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily mathematics and science lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum for Primary level (KS1/KS2) and early KS3.
- Customize and plan lessons to suit each child's educational level.
- Enhance students' numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Track student progress and regularly update parents.
- Create engaging mathematical activities and enrichment exercises.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with UK curriculum mathematics.
- Experience teaching primary and/or lower secondary students.
- Committed to a 2-year contract in Khao Yai.
- Patient, organized, and focused teaching style.
- Preference for female applicants due to the private family setting with a young daughter.
Desirable Qualities:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent.
- Experience in international or British schools.
Working Conditions:
- 5 working days per week.
- Teaching hours: 6-8 hours daily, with additional time for planning and assessment.
- Paid holidays (to be discussed).
- No childcare or household duties required.
