Mathematics Teacher (ISP Program)
Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP) in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher for our ISP Program. This full-time, fixed-term position begins in May 2026 and involves teaching secondary students (Grades 9–11) under the U.S. curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a passion for inspiring learners, enhancing their understanding of mathematics, and fostering critical thinking skills within a supportive and innovative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the U.S. curriculum.
- Cultivate students' understanding of algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus, while enhancing their problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Include applied mathematics topics like business mathematics and personal finance to connect learning to real-world scenarios.
- Utilize diverse teaching strategies to address different learning needs and styles.
- Implement project-based learning to encourage critical thinking and practical application of mathematical concepts.
- Monitor and assess students' progress, offering constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and academic excellence.
- Teach Advanced Placement (AP) courses and prepare students for college-level study.
- Support students in extracurricular activities and preparation for mathematics competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Teaching license from Kurusapa preferred.
- At least 2–3 years of experience teaching secondary mathematics (Grades 9–11); experience with AP courses is advantageous.
- Native English speaker with excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and collaborative learning environment.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching tools.
