Oak Meadow International School in Phuket is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle/High School English Teacher. We are looking for a passionate educator who enjoys inspiring students and creating engaging learning experiences. Position: Middle/High School English Teacher (Native Speaker)
Salary: Starting at 45,000 THB per month, with additional housing stipend and consideration for teaching experience.
Location: Oak Meadow International School, Phuket
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Middle and High School students.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, activities, and assessments.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor students' academic progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing their English language, communication, reading, writing, and critical-thinking skills.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, professional development, and other school events.
- Maintain accurate student records and contribute to the school’s academic programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching qualification or certification preferred.
- Previous experience teaching at the Middle/High School level is an advantage.
- Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- A student-centered, positive approach to teaching.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an international team.
- Experience in an international school is an advantage.
