Lighthouse International Secondary in Phuket is seeking expressions of interest from passionate and qualified educators to join our teaching pool. As our educational programs expand and scheduling needs change, we are looking for candidates for immediate placements, substitute roles, and potential full-time positions in various departments.
We are interested in both single-subject experts and versatile multi-subject educators.
Key Areas of Interest:
1. STEM & Applied Technologies: Mathematics, Integrated Sciences, Career & Technology Foundations (CTF), and Digital Skills.
2. Humanities & Fine Arts: English Language Arts, Performing Arts/Drama, and general electives.
Position Responsibilities:
- Deliver student-centered instruction that aligns with grade-level learning outcomes.
- Create an engaging, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with department teams on curriculum planning and school initiatives.
- Demonstrate strong collaboration skills and work well within a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant field.
- Valid state or provincial teaching certification, or eligibility for regional certification.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Flexibility in teaching single-subject or combined subject areas as required by school needs.
