Job Description:
Hiring SUMMER CAMP NATIVE ENGLISH TEACHERS for Johor, Malaysia. SMIS Education from South Korea holds yearly English camps in Johor, Malaysia. This camp will be the 24th season which starts July 25 -19 August. If you love kids and have an amazing energy to share, join our summer team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Native English teacher and a citizen of: USA, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, or Ireland
3 years or more teaching experience in the classroom
Camp experience is an advantage
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Must have CELTA or TEFL certification
Knowledge of Korean culture
Good physical health

JOB DESCRIPTION
Write lesson plans according to the SMIS standards & level of 4-8th graders.
On the first day, teachers interview students to determine their speaking level.
Teachers are assigned to teach 8 classes per day/ 40minutes each.
Two days off per week.
Weekly Singapore field trips counted as a regular class.
Create final exams & students’ progress report before camp ends.
Summer camp dates July 25- August 19, 2024. Must arrive by 22nd July.
