Direct English is seeking native English-speaking teachers to join our team in Thailand. We offer a professional and supportive teaching environment where you can make a significant impact on the lives of your students.
Our students range from children and teenagers to some adults and kindergarteners. We provide small class sizes, with a maximum of 10 students, and offer ready-made lesson plans, tests, and course guides to support your teaching.
We offer competitive salaries ranging from 36,000 to 65,000+ THB per month, with the possibility of earning more based on performance. Employment can be either full-time or part-time, based on your preference.
Teaching locations include Bangkok, Chonburi, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Ratchasima, Saraburi, Udon Thani, and Ayutthaya.
We are a well-established and respected English-language school that provides professional training and support to our teachers. To be considered, applicants must be native English speakers with a Bachelor’s degree, a TEFL/TESOL certificate (CELTA or Trinity TESOL preferred), experience teaching children, and a commitment of at least one year. A positive, energetic, and professional attitude is essential.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
