Hi, welcome! Thank you for taking the time to read our job post. Brighton Kindergarten in Gwangju, Jeollanam-do, is urgently seeking a native English teacher to join our team in March 2026. Established in 2013, our kindergarten is now looking to add one more native teacher to our team of 11. Our staff includes a native head teacher for extra support.
Key details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (early leave at 4:30 pm 2-3 times a week when classes end)
- Curriculum: Provided
- Salary: 2.65 million KRW per month
- Housing: Single room apartment within a 25-minute walk from the school; Gas and electricity costs covered by the employee
- Teaching hours: Maximum of 25 hours per week
- Lunch: Provided separately from children
- Annual leave: 11 days in the first year plus public holidays
- Additional duties: Quarterly report cards, supervise monthly field trips and themed activity days
- Age groups: 6-12
- Class size: Up to 12 students
