Job Description:

Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Elementary) has vacancies for the following positions at our school in central Bangkok (Asok).

1. English Teacher (elementary level – must be able to teach K-6)
2. Native Spanish Teacher (P4-6)

The school has a strong curriculum, and our teachers focus is on motivating and supporting all learners to engage in their studies and to achieve to the best of their ability.

The school is in central Bangkok (Asok) within walking distance of both BTS & MRT stations.

These positions must be filled by 30th September 2024. The maximum teaching load per week will not exceed 20 hours and working hours are from 7.30 to 3.30, Monday to Friday. The successful candidates should have a sound understanding of teaching practice in the classroom and be willing and able to provide a stimulating learning environment.

1. English teacher (elementary level – must be able to teach K-6)

1.1. Salary and benefits
•Salary of at least 45,000THB per month
•8 to 9 weeks paid holiday per year.
•Additional income through after school program (approx.10k)
•Health insurance
•Visa & work permit fully covered by the school.
•12 month renewable contract.
•Free breakfast and lunch provided.

1.2. In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
• Hold an accredited bachelor’s degree.
• Completed TEFL, TESOL or CELTA training (Preferred)
• Must be currently residing in Bangkok or willing to relocate immediately.
• Must be a native English speaker.
• Able to start work by 30th September 2024.

2. Native Spanish Teacher (P4-6)

2.1 Salary and benefits
•Salary of at least 30,000THB per month
•8 to 9 weeks paid holiday per year.
•Additional income through after school program (approx.10k)
•Health insurance
•Visa & work permit fully covered by the school.
•12 month renewable contract.
•Free breakfast and lunch provided.

2.2 In order to be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
• Hold an accredited bachelor’s degree.
• Completed a course of teacher training suitable for teaching Spanish (preferred).
• Must be currently residing in Bangkok or willing to relocate immediately.
• Must be a native Spanish speaker (Spain and all Spanish-speaking countries)
• Able to start work by 30th September 2024.

Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Elementary), which is part of Srinakharinwirot University, is a demonstration school that provides education for young learners at the elementary level and also provides a training program for student teachers from the university.
