Job Description:

British Thai International School at Chiangkham – Phayao (BTIS) is seeking 1 qualified native English-speaking teacher for 2024-2024 school year (Start in September 2nd, 2024). The teacher will teach Science and Chemistry. The teacher must have at least bachelor degree.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Being a native speaker of English who is responsible and culturally sensitive.
2. Having a Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) in Education or its equivalent.
3. Having some teaching experiences.
4. Having a teaching license from another country or the license issued by the Teachers’ Council of Thailand is a plus. Or having been granted a temporary teaching permit from the Teachers’ Council of Thailand of not more than 2 times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Teaching Science and Chemistry for high school level: 25 periods/week
• Making lesson plans and prepare teaching materials
• Working hours are from 8.00 am. - 4.30 pm.
• Taking part in all school activities and duties: parent meetings, school’s scout camp, gate duty, etc.

WHAT WE OFFER:
• Salary of 36,000 baht/month
