As an Elementary School Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our students by creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a well-rounded curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational goals, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
Instruction: Deliver effective and engaging instruction that encourages active participation and critical thinking in the classroom.
Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment that fosters a safe and inclusive atmosphere for all students. Integrate computer technology to improve learning for all students every day.
Assessment and Evaluation: Assess and track student progress through various methods, including various formative and summative feedback strategies and provide timely feedback to students and parents. Integrate computer technology to improve the assessment of standards for all students.
Individualized Instruction: Identify and address the unique learning needs of students, including those with special educational requirements, and develop strategies to support their progress. Integrate computer technology to improve access and learning of the standards for all students every day.
Parent and Guardian Communication: Establish open and clear lines of communication with parents and guardians, including regular updates on student performance and progress.
Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices, attend workshops, and seek opportunities for ongoing professional growth.
Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administrators to enhance the overall educational experience for students.
Extracurricular Involvement: Encourage and participate in extracurricular activities and events that contribute to the holistic development of students.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred) from U.K./U.S./Australia/Canada/New Zealand ONLY.
-Valid teaching certification and licensure.
-Strong knowledge of elementary education principles and best practices.
-Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
-Patience and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs.
-Solid classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment (online experience is not considered).
-Technology proficiency for educational purposes.
-Dedication to the welfare and growth of students.
-Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
-Immediate availability is highly preferred.
