Pan-Asia International School, an IB World School in Bangkok, is in search of a vibrant and qualified Native English Speaking (NES) female P.E. facilitator to be part of our team. The ideal candidate should have a genuine interest in physical education, hold a valid swimming instructor license, and be dedicated to creating a positive and interactive learning atmosphere for our students. The position includes teacher orientation and preparation sessions commencing in January 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a holistic P.E. curriculum promoting physical fitness, teamwork, and a passion for sports.
- Plan and deliver swimming lessons, ensuring student safety and progress.
- Coordinate and supervise various sports and physical activities.
- Evaluate student performance, offer feedback, and support to help them reach their fitness targets.
- Advocate for health, wellness, and physical activity within the school community.
- Ensure all activities comply with safety protocols and school guidelines.
Qualifications:
- NES/European female
- Certified P.E. facilitator with a recognized qualification in physical education (minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in an international school or an English-medium school)
- Valid swimming instructor license
- Prior experience in teaching P.E. and swimming
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students of all levels
- Dedication to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Applicants for teaching roles at Pan-Asia International School must hold a teaching degree and have at least two to three years of continuous teaching experience. These qualifications are necessary for foreign nationals to work as teachers in Thailand and obtain a work permit.
