Position Details:
- Role: NES Secondary Mathematics Homeroom Teacher
- Contract Duration: Until March 2027, with potential renewal
- Start Date: Immediate or for the upcoming intake
- Location: Secondary Department, Kajonkietsuksa School, Phuket, Thailand
- Salary: 40,000-60,000 THB per month, based on qualifications and experience
- Additional Income: Opportunities from extra lessons and homeroom allowance
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons for 18–20 periods weekly, designed for students' developmental and language levels.
- Develop, grade, and provide feedback on assessments; assist with exam preparation and invigilation.
- Serve as a homeroom teacher, supporting students' emotional and academic growth.
- Collaborate with a local Thai co-teacher to manage the classroom and communicate with parents.
- Contribute to the Secondary Department and school community.
Qualifications:
- Native English Speaker or equivalent proficiency
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (required by the Thai Ministry of Education)
- Preferred: Degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or PGCE/PGDE
- Experience teaching Middle or High School students is prioritized
