We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery/Early Years Teacher to join our team. This role involves working with children aged 16 months to 3 years. Ideal candidates will have a nurturing and patient demeanor, a passion for working in the childcare and education industry, and an enthusiastic approach to tasks.
Position: Nursery/Early Years Class Teacher
Requirements:
- A patient, caring, calm, yet assertive and responsible nature.
- Passion for working with young children.
- General fitness, as the role requires being on your feet and moving around for most of the day.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of the EYFS United Kingdom curriculum.
- Experience in an international school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving school environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree and one of the following qualifications:
- NNEB
- CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce
- BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning & Development
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Care, Learning & Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and play-based learning experiences that inspire and motivate children.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with English as an additional language.
- Assess, monitor, and report on children's progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and ethos.
- Promote a positive and safe learning environment, encouraging good behavior and respect among students.
