Job Description:

Online English Teacher - Young Learners | Remote | South Africa
Online, Worldwide (Remote)
Posted by: The Really Great Teacher Company
Contact: 6CF424035D@jobs.workablemail.com
Introduction:
You did the work. The diploma, the TEFL, the real hours in front of real learners. So why does teaching still mean long commutes, overcrowded classrooms, and a paycheck that never quite reflects the effort?
Here's a different version of the job. Same skills, same passion โ€” but now from your own home, on a schedule you build yourself, earning in US dollars.
The Really Great Teacher Company is looking for qualified, South Africa-based English teachers to teach young learners online. If you're energetic, love working with young learners, and want your qualifications to finally count for something โ€” keep reading.
What's In It For You:
US$6.50 per hour, paid in USD โ€” real earning power against the rand
100% remote โ€” no commute, no classroom chaos, just you and your laptop
Regular students โ€” your learners stay with you over time, so you build genuine relationships and actually get to watch them grow
You own your schedule โ€” distribute your hours however suits your life
Short, punchy 25-minute classes that keep both you and your young learners switched on
Free professional development via Inspire Academy, our e-learning platform stacked with certified and non-certified courses for online educators
Real onboarding and real support โ€” you'll never be thrown in the deep end
A genuine community through our Evolve Program, built around teacher wellness and connection

๐Ÿ“Œ Please review the requirements to teach English in Online before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

โณ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

โš ๏ธ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
