About us
Think&Grow Education HK. is an academic English research and teaching organization. Our mission is to better prepare Chinese K12 students to attend and succeed at international schools or Universities by providing them with a progressive and interactive, globally focused academic English curriculum; including English Languages Arts, Intensive Reading and Writing, Non-fiction Reading, Greater Writing, History, Picture Book Reading 1v1 and Power Up.
Our faculty and support staff represent different nationalities, including many from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, South Africa and China.
About Power Up Class
Power Up, a popular entry-level original English coursebook, is thoughtfully adapted and enhanced by Think & Grow’s top curriculum development team. Designed specifically for young learners stepping into international education, this program uses authentic materials, engaging topics, and interactive tasks to ignite students’ interest in English learning. While building a strong foundation in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, it also nurtures critical thinking, collaboration, and cross-cultural understanding, preparing students for future academic challenges in international programs.
About Intensive Reading and Writing
Through "intensive reading of original novels" and "extensive theme-related writing", we systematically enhance students' reading and writing skills, cultivate their cultural literacy and critical thinking in an international curriculum, and also help improve their essential academic abilities for future A-Level/IB courses and exams like TOEFL/SAT.
About English Language Arts
It is similar to the English classes in the US (followed Common Core States Standards) whose goal is to improve student’s academic reading and academic writing abilities by teaching them important skills such as critical thinking, how to make an inference and evidence collection.
About Picture Book Reading 1v1 class
It is designed for beginning readers to improve reading ability through regular, well-organized guided reading sessions with experienced teachers. Each students will be placed to one of the five reading levels (from AR 1.0-3.9) and assigned a 32-book reading list to finish.
This is not a simple READ ALOUD class or free-talking speaking class, but a GUIDED READING class. All the questions asked during the guided reading session should point to deepening student's understanding of the text, the structure of the story, or the themes of the book.

2. Bachelor's degree or above

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in online before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
