Job Description:

Maitreya Dharma School in Chiang Mai is seeking three part-time Private Chinese Tutors to teach two eight-year-old children. Tutors will conduct one-on-one lessons, with each child attending separate sessions. The teaching will take place at the students' homes during the day in the Hang Dong area of Chiang Mai.

Job Responsibilities:
- Teach traditional Chinese characters, Pinyin, and pronunciation.
- Conduct lessons on character recognition, reading, and basic writing.
- Develop daily Chinese listening and speaking skills.
- Adapt the curriculum to suit the children’s current Chinese level, which is akin to first grade.

Requirements:
- Experience in teaching Chinese to elementary school students or similarly aged children.
- Familiarity with traditional Chinese characters and the Chinese Pinyin teaching system.
- Excellent pronunciation and ability to systematically teach pinyin, reading, and writing.
- Must be patient, punctual, responsible, and adaptable.
- Preference for candidates from Taiwan or Hong Kong.
- Candidates with Mandarin teaching qualifications or relevant educational backgrounds are preferred.
