The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking qualified candidates for Physics and Mathematics teaching positions for secondary education. Our school, established in 2019, is centrally located just a short walk from the Siam BTS station. We offer an IGCSE, IAL, and BTEC curriculum under Pearson, and our teaching team comprises international and Thai teachers with excellent English proficiency.
Available Positions:
1. Physics Teacher: Teach IGCSE (Years 10/11) and potentially IAL (Years 12/13) if qualified.
2. Mathematics Teacher: Teach IGCSE (Years 10/11) and provide support for IAL (Years 12/13) if qualified.
3. General Science Teacher: Teach Years 8/9.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant field.
- At least one year of in-class teaching experience with the relevant age group.
- Familiarity with Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Preference for native English speakers, particularly those residing in Thailand, and Thai nationals proficient in English.
Benefits:
- Working hours are 09:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday.
- Start date ideally in April 2026, but flexible.
- Minimum starting salary of ฿50,000 monthly, based on qualifications and experience.
- Annual bonus equivalent to one month's salary.
- Private health insurance post-probation.
- 12-month renewable contract.
- Return flight to home country after 12 months of service (up to ฿50,000).
- All visa and work permit-related costs covered.
