Job Description:

Asia Language and Business Academy (ALBA) International School is seeking enthusiastic, Primary and Secondary Teachers to teach in Yangon, Myanmar for the 2024-2025 academic year (May 15 start date)

Job Details:

Primary positions-

Year 2 (English) and Year 4 (Science) - 2 positions
Work hours of 8:15am-3:45pm, Monday – Friday
Contract date: May 15th, 2024 – March 15th, 2025
Maximum of 25-30 contact hours per week

Secondary positions-

Year 8 (Math)
Work hours of 8:15am-3:45pm, Monday – Friday
Contract date: May 15th, 2024 – March 15th, 2025
Maximum of 20-25 contact hours per week

Weekend positions (June 1st Start Date)-

ESL classes available for all ages (4yrs-18yrs)
Work hours of 9:00am-5:30pm (Part-time positions also available; minimum of 5 hours per week)
Contract date: May 25th, 2024 (1 year)
Maximum of 5-15 contact hours per weekend

Requirements:

Fluent in English
A bachelor’s degree in any field of study (Preferably Education)
A TEFL, CELTA or TESOL Certificate
Two years teaching experience (Those with less can still apply)

Job Offer:

Salary of $1,800 - $2,000 USD/month (Weekend salary is $22/hour)
Housing provided near the school campus (Central Yangon)
Paid sick leave/paid national holidays
Airport pick-up and assistance with getting to know the area upon arrival
Business visas and work documents for all necessary government forms provided
