Bangkok Christian College, a well-established all-boys private school in central Bangkok, is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Prathom (Primary) section of our English Immersion Program for the academic year starting in May 2026. We are looking to fill the following positions:
1. Homeroom Teacher (Grade 3): As a homeroom teacher, you will be responsible for leading a class of about 30 students aged 8-9 years. You will teach all core subjects and have approximately 20 hours of direct student interaction weekly. You will collaborate with a team of four third-grade teachers and share lesson planning responsibilities.
2. Teaching Assistant (Grade 3): This role involves providing additional support to two third-grade classes and their homeroom teachers. Responsibilities include classroom management, assisting with marking, and working with small groups of students. You may also need to cover classes in the absence of teachers. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their teaching career.
3. Music Teacher (Grades 2-6): We are looking for candidates with some experience teaching music to large groups. The role involves teaching 20 different classes per week, focusing on basic musical theory and practice.
Applicants must possess a graduate degree and hold a passport from the U.K., Republic of Ireland, U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand, or Republic of South Africa. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, such as MS Word and PowerPoint, is required. Degrees must be supported by university-issued certification and transcripts.
The salary ranges from 55,000 to 75,000 THB per month, depending on the role and qualifications. Benefits include paid holidays, sick leave, basic medical insurance, and an end-of-contract bonus of up to 40,000 THB.
