Thongphaphumwitthaya School, located in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, is hiring a qualified foreign teacher for our academic team. We are seeking a Science Teacher who will also teach English.
Position: Science Teacher (also responsible for teaching English)
Salary: 30,000 THB per month (Note: Salary for October and April will be paid on a pro-rata basis, according to actual working days)
Contract Period: 1-year contract for the Academic Year 2026
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in General Science or a related field
- TEFL / TESOL / CELTA certification
- English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach English and Science at the secondary level (Mini English Program: M1–M2, and Normal Program: M1–M6)
- Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30
- Maximum 23 teaching periods per week (50 minutes per period)
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and course outlines
- Participate in school activities and assigned duties
Required Documents:
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Teaching demonstration video (15–20 minutes) on the topic of teaching Mathayom 1 (M1) students in the MEP program (English proficiency level: A1–A2)
- Degree certificate with official transcript
- Valid passport (minimum 1-year validity)
- Valid visa and work permit
- Teaching license or teaching license waiver
- English proficiency test results (initial online test results are acceptable; official test results required if selected)
