The Patumwan Demonstration School English Program is currently seeking science teachers specializing in chemistry and general science to join their team. The school provides top-notch classroom amenities, laboratories, and a wealth of resources. The academic year commences in May 2025.
Minimum qualifications for interested applicants are:
- A bachelor’s degree in science.
- Fluency in English.
- Proof of continuous professional development.
- A valid teaching license from the Teacher's Council of Thailand (permanent or temporary).
- At least two years of teaching experience.
- A clean criminal record.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be well-versed in various topics related to chemistry and general science for students aged 12-17.
- Have the ability to teach general science courses.
- Create and conduct appropriate lab activities to support learning.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic lab management including safety, organization, and storage.
- Possess strong classroom management skills and familiarity with Google Workspace for Education.
- Be prepared to engage in school events and take on additional responsibilities such as being a classroom advisor.
Teachers will have a teaching load of up to 18 periods per week, with each period lasting 50 minutes. Responsibilities include lesson planning, curriculum development, and collaboration with fellow teachers.
