Anglo Singapore International School in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Business Studies Teacher to join our Secondary team. The position requires a passionate educator to teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Business Studies, helping students develop analytical thinking, commercial awareness, and examination skills. This role is perfect for a teacher who values clarity, real-world applications, and rigor within the Cambridge framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons following Cambridge IGCSE and A Level syllabi.
- Focus on business concepts, decision making, data interpretation, evaluation, and examination techniques.
- Enhance students' abilities to analyze business issues, evaluate strategic decisions, and apply theory to real-world contexts.
- Prepare students for assessments, including essays, data-response questions, and case studies.
- Track student progress and provide targeted academic support based on data.
- Give constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to curriculum development and resource planning.
- Engage in co-curricular activities and enrichment programs when suitable.
- Maintain a disciplined and engaging classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about academic progress.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Education, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification such as QTS, PGCE, or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in Secondary Business Studies, preferably with international or Cambridge experience.
- Proficient knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE and A Level syllabi, including assessments.
- Strong skills in classroom management, organization, and communication.
- Commitment to academic excellence and student success.
