Salary: Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience according to the SBS salary scale, with a minimum of ฿69,500 per month.
Satit Bilingual School (SBS) is seeking a dynamic and experienced teacher to join our international teaching team. We require a professionally certified educator who is committed to supporting student development through both curricular and extracurricular activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Teach English to secondary students following the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, teaching materials, and manage information on the school's administrative system.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse student needs and interests.
- Conduct assessments, monitor academic progress, and provide feedback.
- Establish classroom expectations and evaluate student performance and development.
- Confer with teachers, parents, or guardians to discuss student progress and address issues.
- Prepare and implement remedial programs for students needing extra help.
- Attend faculty meetings, professional development training, and school events.
- Plan and participate in extracurricular activities like clubs and academic contests.
- Perform additional professional duties as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
- Education Degree or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Professional Teaching qualification/license/certification.
- Preference for candidates with a Master's degree.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in teaching secondary subjects in a structured school setting.
- Experience teaching English to secondary students with Cambridge International Education Program (IGCSE Level) and Thai MoE.
- Experience with international curriculum and EAL learners is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Fluent English speaker (minimum C1 level).
- Strong skills in presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Competency in class management, time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, dedicated, with a positive outlook.
