Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University, located in Pathum Thani, is seeking a qualified Secondary School Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives Teacher. The position is full-time with a competitive salary starting at ฿65,000 per month, depending on qualifications and teaching experience. The successful candidate will be part of our international teaching team and is expected to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IGCSE Global Perspectives and some humanities subjects according to the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to diverse student needs.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom expectations and evaluate student performance.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and guardians regarding student progress.
- Develop remedial programs for students needing additional support.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Engage in extracurricular activities such as clubs and academic contests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Professional teaching qualification/license/certification.
- Preference for holders of a teacher’s license and candidates based in Thailand.
- Minimum of three years of professional teaching experience in a structured school environment.
- Experience teaching IGCSE Global Perspectives/Business or Economics; AS & A Level experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with international curriculum and EAL learners is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Native-level or near-native English proficiency (minimum CEFR C1 level).
- Strong skills in presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Effective in class management, time management, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, and positive.
