Maitreya Dharma School, located in the serene regions of Hang Dong and Mae Taeng in Chiang Mai, is inviting applications for the role of Secondary Homeroom Teacher for Year 7. Candidates should be experienced native English speakers who favor project-based, inquiry-based, and outdoor experiential learning. You will work alongside a Chinese co-teacher, engaging with a small group of Year 7 students (ages 11–15).

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver integrated, engaging lessons in English, Maths, and other subjects
- Facilitate hands-on activities and outdoor learning
- Guide students in phenomenon-based learning through real-world exploration
- Collaborate with a Chinese co-teacher in a supportive environment
- Foster students’ holistic development—academically, emotionally, socially, and mindfully
Preferred Qualities:
- Physically energetic and enthusiastic
- Passionate about natural and outdoor education
- Skilled in interactive and project-based lesson design
- Interest or experience in Buddhism, meditation, and Dharma education
- Committed to community well-being and positive contribution
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- International teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, US teaching license, BEd)
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
- Experience teaching secondary students
- Willingness to commit long-term (minimum one year)
