Job Description:

China International School in Bangkok is looking for a dedicated and experienced Secondary Mathematics Teacher to teach mathematics using the British curriculum in an international Chinese school setting in Thailand.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging mathematics lessons, integrating Academic English, and differentiating instruction for students with varying English proficiency. The teacher will design and administer assessments, monitor student progress, and provide feedback. They will also explicitly teach mathematical vocabulary and support students in mathematical discussions and written responses. Additional duties include maintaining a positive classroom environment, participating in school events, and collaborating with colleagues.

Qualifications required include a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field, and a recognized teaching qualification (such as PGCE or QTS). Experience in a British curriculum environment and working with EAL/ESL learners is preferred. Candidates should have strong communication, organizational, and planning skills, and a commitment to student wellbeing.
